I still can’t believe that what happened just did. Who would have thought that this typhoon would actually be such a pain in the ass that my friends, family and Filipinos around the Metro would be suffering this much?

2 days ago I had dinner with @luciellef and the rest of her family before she went to the hospital. We were even joking about naming her son Ondoy in honor of the typhoon. Damn! I had no idea that Ondoy would be such a killer! Yesterday, I left the house at around 7am and headed to a hospital in San Juan. I left the hospital at around 11:30am and got stranded in Ortigas for 30mins. @luannemanlapaz and I found out that in front of LSGH, the water was already waist high. A friend of mine told me that her dad just got home this morning and slept in the car while waiting yesterday. I even heard worse.

I was not able to sleep for 26 hours straight that day and it was by choice but a lot of Filipinos haven’t slept for days because they couldn’t find their love ones, a lot of Filipinos haven’t eaten for days because of having no food supply due to their house being flooded which made them stranded, a lot of people had no electricity plus a lot of people have died.

Due to the weather, I think I am about get a visit from Mr. Flu again and who am I to complain? I have a friend who saw a fish in her living room swimming. I have a friend who could not believe that she just woke up seeing all her stuff from their first floor vanish. I have a friend who had to rush a family member at this time of calamity. I have a friend who isn’t in the Philippines and is going crazy trying to contact her family members here but couldn’t, I on the other hand never experienced having no electricity and my area was not flooded at all. Talk about guilt trip to the HIGHEST LEVEL!

I am really disappointed with our government right now, but I think it really is a waste of time to even rant about them, instead I think everyone should just at least do something and work on helping our fellow Filipinos who are in need. I feel so thankful that I would be such a nimwad if I don’t get my lazy ass out of this house immediately to help.

I just really hope for better things to come.

Let us all pray for each and every Filipino out there in need.
